Do I need an appointment to tour Harbour View?

Yes, we ask that you please make an appointment for tours. Because we are a private event venue, we do not show the venue when there are events in progress. When you come in to visit Harbour View, we want to make sure that you will have access to view all of the spaces that you will be using for your event.

How soon do I need to book my event at Harbour View?

Once you decide on your date, you will want to contact us as soon as possible. All of our events are booked on a first-come, first-served basis.

Can I hold a date and will there be a fee to do so?

When you ask for a contract to book your date, we will hold that date for 5 days.  This way you don't feel pressured to sign "on the spot".

What is the process to book my event at Harbour View?

In order to reserve your desired date, you will need to sign a rental agreement and remit your initial deposit. The initial deposit will be 25% to 50% of your package amount depending upon the amount of time between signing your agreement and your event date. If you are booking the River Room for your event (40 guests or less) the entire balance is due when signing the agreement.

Does Harbour View charge service fees or gratuity fees in addition to the rental fee?

No, we do not charge an additional service fee, cleaning fee, or gratuity fee.  Although your coordinator and venue team are most appreciative of gratuities for their amazing service, in the true spirit of such offerings, gratuities to your coordinator and the venue team are left to your discretion and are never a contractual add-on.

Are there any discounts available for booking my event at Harbour View?

We offer a military discount on most event packages for active duty military. We are so very appreciative of our service men and women, and we love to make their wedding day dreams a reality! We also offer seasonal discounts on weekend packages during the months of January through March.

What methods of payment does Harbour View accept?

Harbour View accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover, personal or corporate checks, and PayPal.

What are my options for catering at Harbour View?

Our catering policies give you the freedom to choose from a selection of approved caterers to suit your tastes, including a variety of international cuisines. Each of the catering companies have been thoroughly vetted to give you peace of mind that comes from knowing that you are working with trusted professionals who consistently provide excellent food and service. We are happy to give you guidance and assistance to ensure a perfect catering fit for your event.

What are my options if I choose to serve alcoholic beverages at my event?

There are a few options for serving alcohol at your event as outlined below.

 1. Supply your own alcoholic beverages for your event. Your caterer will supply the bar equipment, mixers, ice, and staffing.

 2. Have the catering company handle everything for you. The caterer will supply all the beer, wine, liquor, mixers, bar equipment, ice, etc.

3. Have the catering company provide a cash bar for your event. This option works really well for corporate events and fundraisers.

Is the balcony area included in my rental?

Yes, use of the balcony surrounding the ballrooms is included! You and your guests can enjoy the beautiful marina and river views throughout your event. At your request (weather permitting), we can place high-top cabaret tables on the balcony.

Will there be a Harbour View event coordinator on-site during my event?

A Harbour View event coordinator will be present from the time your very first vendor arrives until the very last person leaves. We will make sure that everything goes smoothly and as planned so that you can relax and enjoy your event.

May I use the marina grounds and docks for my photographs?

All Harbour View event hosts are welcome to use our beautifully landscaped outdoor areas and marina grounds for their photos. If you’d like to use the grounds for engagement photos or anniversary photos just schedule an agreeable date with us!
