If I choose to serve alcoholic beverages at my event, what are my options?
There are two options for serving alcoholic beverages at your event. The first option is to let your caterer handle all of your alcohol requests and requirements. The second option is to supply your own alcohol for the event. Your caterer can then provide your bar equipment, mixers, and bartending staff. All alcoholic beverages must be served by a licensed bartender. When supplying your own alcohol for cash bars or ticketed events, you may need to obtain a one-day banquet license from the Virginia ABC Board.

What is the process to book my event at Harbour View?
In order to ensure that your desired date and room(s) are reserved for your event, simply sign a rental agreement and remit 50% of your total rental fee at the time of signing. The remainder of your rental fee, plus 6% Virginia sales tax and your refundable security deposit, are due at least 30 days prior to the event. If your event is occurring within 30 days of the rental agreement date, the entire balance is due when you sign the agreement.

What is the smoking policy?
Smoking is not permitted inside any area in Harbour View. May I use the marina grounds and docks for photographs?
You are welcome to seize the many photographic opportunities on the marina grounds during your event. You are also welcome to use the marina grounds prior to your event for a special photo session if you so desire. The docks are private property for marina slipholders only, but we are happy to work with you to arrange for bride and groom portraits to be taken on the docks. Please be sure to make arrangements in advance so the areas you wish to use can be made available.
